Laura Darby is the Communications & Branding Consultant for the Marine & Freshwater Branch of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). With a background in biology (Columbia University) and a Master's in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Wildlife Health (University of Edinburgh, 2024), Laura combines her expertise in communications, technology, and biology to lead the Marine Protected Area Tool Hub (MPAth) project. Her experience with the Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education Centre and the Great Apes Survival Partnership (UNEP) underscores her commitment to conservation and innovative environmental solutions.
